I. How to enhance your skin during pregnancy with organic vegetable oils?

There are many vegetable oils, all with specific properties. The common factor among vegetable oils is their great nourishing power.

  1. Nourish deeply

Organic Jojoba liquid wax, a must have in aromatherapy, is the vegetable oil that comes closest to the skin's sebum. Its properties will help combat dryness of the epidermis due to the hormonal change that affects pregnant women. It is not the only one, organic Argan treasure vegetable oil coming directly from Morocco, it protects and regenerates the skin without leaving a greasy film.

Expert in aromatherapy and herbal medicine, Doctor Fabienne Millet recommends:

  • Pour 20 ml of organic Jojoba liquid wax into a 50 ml bottle,
  • Add 10 ml of organic Borage vegetable oil ,
  • Complete with organic Argan vegetable oil.

Use 3 to 5 drops of the mixture applied daily to the face. The same mixture can be used on the body.

Dry skin is not the only uncomfortable phenomenon caused by pregnancy. Stretch marks can also be prevented by using organic vegetable oils.

Doctor Fabienne Millet’s recipe:

  • Pour 10 ml of organic Jojoba liquid wax,
  • Add 20 ml of organic Rosier Muscat vegetable oil to a 50 ml bottle,
  • Complete with organic Argan or Sesame vegetable oil.

Use 10 to 20 drops of the mixture applied daily to the stomach and thighs

2. Take care of your skin after birth

After the baby is born, several annoying phenomena can happen to mom, such as dry hair. To reduce this phenomenon, pour a small amount of organic Jojoba liquid wax into your shampoo. Mix in the palm of your hand and shampoo as usual.

II. How to use organic essential oils in pregnant and breastfeeding women?

Routes of administration allowing passage into the blood or milk should be avoided. However, atmospheric diffusion does not pose a problem in the presence of pregnant or breastfeeding women or young children.

Some essential oils are recommended and atmospheric diffusion must be done in small periods. Dry inhalations (1 to 2 drops on a tissue) can be used frequently. Be careful, for young children place essential oils on a support out of reach of hands, thus promoting atmospheric diffusion and avoiding dry inhalations.

Prefer atmospheric diffusion

To purify the atmosphere, diffuse citrus essential oils:

  • Organic Grapefruit essential oil, Organic Bergamot,
  • Essential oil of organic lemon, organic tangerine, orange tree…

You can mix them together. To relax:

  • Organic Bergamot essential oil,
  • Organic fine lavender essential oil,
  • Organic Roman Chamomile essential oil.

These essential oils can be mixed together.

Our recommendations :

It is important to store vegetable oils away from oxygen, mainly to maintain their properties. If they oxidize, they will no longer protect the skin from the formation of free radicals and skin aging.

Certain vegetable oils such as organic borage, organic evening primrose and organic rosehip vegetable oils deteriorate very quickly. To preserve them, add a teaspoon of organic Jojoba liquid wax to the opened bottle. The latter plays the role of an excellent preservative.

The use of essential oils should be reserved for atmospheric diffusion and dry inhalations during maternity.
